Bring the Marigolds

Some holidays ask you to sit quietly. Día de los Muertos asks you to bring more marigolds. It's the brightest table of the year, with papel picado strung overhead, candles everywhere, everyone's favorite dish, and the family stories told loud enough for the whole room to hear. Somebody always brings too much pan de muerto, and nobody minds. We made a pen for that table.

Calavera Ever After has a glossy black barrel printed with three sugar skulls, each wreathed in orange marigolds and green leaves, with pink, teal, and white scrollwork curling around them. They look like they're having the best night of their lives. Up top, a chamber of fuchsia, orange, amber, and lime green crystals, polished chrome hardware, and an amber stone on the end. Hand-assembled in Texas, refillable for life, and right at home next to a planner full of party plans.
